Faster and More Focused Effects
The real benefit of CBD oil when applied to the skin is it can work almost immediately and directly to the area that needs it. Applying CBD directly to the skin (topically), allows you to target a specific trouble area.
When Ingesting CBD products orally it allows CBD and other compounds to enter the blood stream, which elicits full-body effects and takes up to 2 hours or more before those effects are experienced.
With topical applications of CBD, the healing compound and other hemp-derived nutrients are almost immediately absorbed directly through your skin, allowing them to be target the affected area much quicker and with more focused effects.
Benefits to the skin
CBD oil is a powerful antioxidant (it protects the skin from free radicals like UV rays, smoke, and environmental pollutants)
Free radicals lead to wrinkles and fine lines, antioxidants protect our skin from this damage and help fight the effects of aging.
CBD interacts with receptors to encourage homeostasis and healing.
CBD can help treat an array of dry skin conditions such as eczema
CBD can adjust the output of oils in the skin and hair inhibiting skin cell lipid production making it effective in preventing acne.
CBD is packed full of essential nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, proteins, and fatty acids, to encourage skin health.
Benefits to pain
CBD cream can be used to treat a very specific area of your body that’s experiencing pain. With a very quick relief response. If ingest CBD oil for a sore muscle, you’ll get a general pain relief throughout your entire body, but the muscle pain itself may not completely disappear. On the other hand, when you apply CBD cream to your sore spot, all of CBD’s pain-relieving effects will focus on that one area.
You can compare something very common like taking an asprin, you get a general pain relief, but the muscle may still be tight and sore. CBD cream allows you to massage the cream into a specific spot for fast, maximum effect.
When applying CBD oil topically, it not only reduces the inflammation, it also reduces or eliminates the pain quickly without any side effects. Stay tuned for a future blog on skin conditions like Eczema, Psoriasis and dry skin.

CBD FOR ATHLETES
I have heard about CBD oil with multiple therapeutic spectrums. But the important content of the article is about CBD ointment. CBD and pure hemp oil (https://nuturacbd.com/) both are good anti-inflammatory properties and it is good if these are available in the form of ointment. The onset of action for ointment is also good. I am using hemp oil for the treatment of eczema.
It’s good to know that CBD products have a lot of vitamins, minerals, proteins, and fatty acids that improve the current state of my skin. I’ve been pulling consecutive all-nighters for my final exams and a friend of mine had noticed dark circles and fine lines under my eyes. Now that they’re over, it might be a good idea to try out the CBD-infused eye serum that she has recommended and see if it works for me.

Can CBD ointment be applied to the sinus area for use as an anti-inflammatory. I recently used it directly on my face in the sinus area and it was great. However, 24 hours later, my nasal passages were totally dry. How do you recommend I use it?
I have a lot of skin problems, from dry skin about my cheeks to oily, acne-prone skin about my t-zone, and I’m considering trying CBD as a way to treat it. It’s good to know that it works so immediately in the area it’s applied, though due to the acne-prone nature of my skin, I’ll probably want to get it diluted in a cream or something rather than going for the straight oil. Encouraging both healing and dry skin is definitely something I’m excited for in CBD oil, and I’m excited to see how quickly my skin can heal.
